We have seen many awards events organized by leading newspapers or magazines, but rarely one fines the journalist getting felicitated for their hard work and efforts.

 
SURAKSHA Health and Education Welfare Association (S.H.E) NGO organized a function in western suburb of Mumbai on the republic day, where top Bollywood journalists from different medium were felicitated by the local MLA ASLAM SHAIKH many politicians and Bollywood TV actors. Mr VINAY Singh is the President of SHE.

The event was attended by more than 3000 School Students of  B.M.C School, Veer Bhagat Singh, Holy Angel High School, Ryan International School, Billabong High to name a few.

Many TV actors like Prerna Gautam from ‘ babli in Neeli Chatri Wale ’, Kiran Mohnani  Golu of ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ fame, Firoz Khan (Mahabharat fame Arjun), Ramesh Goyal, Ali Khan, and many more attended this prestigious event which was hosted by controversial film director of Hindi movie  ‘Anjuna Beach’ fame Shakeel Saifee.

 
This award ceremony was attended by the all the artists and crew of Sancheti Cine Visions and  Producer Lucky Sancheti’s most ambitious ventre DIL MEIN TUM HI HO which is being directed by Shakeel Saifee.
Arihant Jain, Sezal Sharma, Sameer Khan, Javed Iqbal, Sareem Khan,  Singers Altamas Faridi, Sabab Sabri, Indrani Sharma, Farhan Sabri and Amita Nangia were present in this star-studded event.

Mumbai.Vishesh Cup 2016 by Save the Children India, Inter School Cricket Tournament for children with special needs mainly for the hearing impaired and the mentally challenged children from the underprivileged section of society aptly called Vishesh Cup 2016 held at Air-India Ground,Kalina,Santacruz (West),Mumbai on 28^th January 2016.The event was attended by non-other than Suniel Shetty, his wife Mana Shetty & daughter Athiya Shetty along with Managing Director of Global Advertiser Sanjeev Gupta, DhanrajPillay India’s ace hockey player & renowned cricketer VinodKambli.

Suniel Shetty who is a cherished Trustee of Save the Children India has initiated this Tournament not only for his love of cricket but to open the doors of this great game to the much marginalised section of society who may never get an opportunity of this magnitude. He has always displayed a special affection for Special Care Centre ,a school for these special children where they give a holistic education accompanied with a high grade nutrition programme, Suniel  has been in the forefront of undertaking  innovative initiatives for the benefit of the children in the school. Vishesh Cup is his latest brainchild– a tournament of passion and opportunity! Which got tremendous support from Sanjeev Gupta,MD of Global Advertisers talking about the initiative Sanjeev Gupta states it’s a fantastic initiative and I will support the initiative all the way I am very grateful that my friend Suniel offered me an opportunity to be a part of such a cause I am really thankful to him it was such an humbling experience and I will go out of my way to support such cause.

Vishesh Cup Cricket Tournament provides a platform to mentally challenge and hearing impaired students to express their talent in cricket. The children feel thrilled to receive equal opportunities like children of normal ability.It is a joy not only for the participating children, but also the audiences to watch the children play the sport with enthusiasm. Trishaan Shetty won gold Medal in a US martial arts tournament...

A 13 year old Indian Boy Trishaan Shetty has won gold Medal at a martial arts tournament organised at Nampa, the largest city of Canyon County, Idaho, U.S.A by “Empty Hand Combat International” headed by World renowned kung fu Master Sifu Cosmo Zimik, .

Trishaan Shetty is an 8th standard student in Mumbai’s ‘City International School’, (Oshiwara),Mumbai. A swords, which is a weapon art requires speed and power and Trishaan’s mastery of the art earned him both praise and the medal.

Trishaan is the son of Chitah Yajnesh Shetty founder, President,Technical director of  chitah jkd in Mumbai. “I am feeling good after the gold medal win. I love martial arts. I also like foot ball and cricket,” says Trishaan Shetty.——–Sanjay Sharma Raj(P.R.O.)
