DILLZAN  WADIA’S dancing skills were talked about as was his histrionics in Gautam Bafna and Praveen Chudasama’s Four Pillars of Basement. Now, actor Dillzan Wadia is on cloud nine. Not only has he been repeated by his producers in their next romcom, but Dillzan Wadia has won the  Best  Actor With Grey Shades Award and the Critics’ Choice Awards at  IFEFA, Australia as well.

Says an elated Dillzan Wadia, “it was not easy portraying the role of a mentally unstable man in love. And I am glad my maiden film is recognised. There is nothing more an actor loves than being acknowledged for his work. And I am glad Four Pillars of Basement happened to me. And I am so happy that now my work is getting acknowledged the world over.”

Interestingly, Four Pillars of Basement was also lauded for its music and its action-thriller content by the IFEFA jury. This at a time when A-Lister banners are approaching the actor. Way to go, Dillzan!

To announce key details about the 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards 2015, Sonakshi took to the press conference stage in Mumbai. She expressed her opinions about the big films of the year gone by, as well as spoke with remarkable elegance about theFilmfare Awards. The young superstar cajoled the media present at the event. It was the perfect way to kick-start the Filmfare awards frenzy in 2016.

The star-studded announcement was made at the Westinhotel in Mumbaion January4, 2016. Sonakshi was accompanied by Mr. JiteshPillaaiEditorFilmfare magazineand MrVinay Subramanyam, Category Manager, Britannia Industries Limited- was also present at the event. Together, they lit the lamp marking the start of another stellar celebration ofthe best of Hindi cinema.

Finale on Day 10 – Tajinder Singh Tiwana spearheaded “Malad Festival” powered by G3 Motors & Red FM 93.5...

The finale witnessed the Launch of the play “Chatpati Bua Ka Swayamvar”- Upasna Singh , Courtesy Gurpreet kaur chadha who ably supported ten days of the show and this evening.

The play has presence of  Upasna Singh, Director- Deepak raja, Raja Saggu, Rana Jung Bhadur, Banwari Lal Jhol, Srikant Maski, Rajiv Nigam, Surinder Musical Group, Pankaj Dutt, Ram Kiran Chopra, Harish (dance directors), Harpreet Kaur (choreographer) entertained the audience with their comic timing, wit, energy and charm.

Malad Festival is spread over for ten days from 25th December 2015 to 3rd January 2016 from5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Goraswadi Ground, behind Milap PVR cinema, off SV road, Adarsh, Malad (West).

Malad festival envisions creating annual phenomena and a platform for the local residents consisting of so many diverse culture, instilling in them a sense of pride and aspiration. The concluding day of “Malad Festival 2015” saw the entire cast and crew of Chatpati Bua Ka Swayamvar, where the entire cast was present to mark the launch of the play .

The evening also had live performances by The Voice India fame Jyotica Tangri & Sahil Solanki who depicted different emotions through their songs with an amalgamation of melody and feel. The evening was high on its musical richness, its subtlety and its uncanny ability to reach deep within the hearts.

The last day of “Malad Festival” saw the attendance of Upsana Singh,Gurpreet kaur chadha ,Avesh Dadlani , Shweta Khanduri,  Deepak Raja, Raja Saggu, Rana Jung Bhadur, Banwari Lal Jhol, Rajiv Nigam, Surinder Musical Group, Pankaj Dutt, Ram Kiran Chopra, etc

Malad Festival had everything from music, theatre, film, dance, sport, food, heritage to art and poetry. The festival successfully showcased the cultural wealth of the area also along with bringing together various communities.

Tajinder Singh Tiwana says “This year’s Malad Festival is coming to an end. The response was outstanding. We had people pouring in everyday to enjoy the festival; it was a 10 days celebration of different communities. I am overwhelmed that the purpose of the festival to meet each other and get to know the neighborhood of Malad was not just appreciated but celebrated as well”
