Dishum International Bhojpuri Film Awards (IBFA) 2017 created history last year by being the first-ever Regional entertainment show held in London on 30th July 2017. This year, it spread the power of Bhojpuri culture in Malaysia at the 2nd DISHUM IBFA Awards 2018. It was a packed house with entire Bhojpuri industry under one roof to celebrate the 2nd Dishum International Bhojpuri Film awards 2018. Adding a touch of Bollywood charm and to grace the occasion present were Kumar Sanu and Dino Morea.Krishna Abhishek, Ragini Khanna, Payal Rohatgi. Apart from them, the Dishum channel owner Vishal Gurnani, producer Abhay Sinha, Durga Prasad, Ramesh Nayyar, Partha Dey, COO, Dishum Broadcasting Pvt Ltd and Aparna Shah, Founder Director, Dishum Broadcasting Pvt Ltd.

On this occasion, Bhojpuri Superstar and Bollywood actor Vinay Anand got the Most versatile actor award and he thanks all the Bhojpuri film fraternity, and his mom and dad and promised that he will entertain more in upcoming movies.The prestigious awards were given away in front of a packed audience and attended by the who’s who of Bhojpuri and Bollywood entertainment industry. Present were the Bhojpuri superstars such as Manoj Tiwari, Pawan Singh, Nirahua, Ravi Kishan, Krushna Abhishek as well as popular Bhojpuri celebrities including Amprapali Dubey, Madhu Sharma, Akanksha Awasthi, Sambhavna Seth, Rashmi Desai, Payal Rohatgi, who rocked the stage in a glitzy event held in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on 21st July 2018.

100th Session of AAFT Inaugurated at Noida Film City...

Asian Academy of Film And Television has become and declared the first film, television and media institute in the World to launch its 100^th Session of film, television and media training with the opening of 100^th session today.

“I am feeling important to be the part of World history of cinema when 100^th session of AAFT is being inaugurated in the presence of more than 500 media aspirants. This date will go into the history of    cinema,” said Sanjay Kapoor renowned film and television personality at the inauguration of 100^th batch of AAFT at Noida Film City.

“We all have to work hard and   have to be truthful to our profession to succeed in this line. No halfhearted involvement can get you success. We all have Sandeep Marwah as the case study right in front of us. His advice will get you things on easy terms,” added Sanjay Kapoor addressing to large audience.

“It was dream few years back, today it is the truth. We have completed 25 years of our services to media education and 100^th session has brought another World Record to our credit. I am so thankful to each and every one who all have contributed to the success of AAFT,” said Sandeep Marwah President Asian Education Group.

The complete faculty, administration, students and   guest from film and television fraternity were witness to this historical event. “We are ready to fly from here to new heights and status,” said Akshay Marwah CEO of Asian Education Group.

~ The cookbook maestro’s daughter launched her First Cook Book – Modern Vegetarian Recipies ~

Mumbai, August, 2018:The culinary world needs no introduction to the celebrated cookbook author, TV host and renowned chef – the late Tarla Dalal. Thus it holds little surprise when her gifted daughter launched her first cookbook – Modern Vegetarian Recipies on the birth anniversary of her beloved mother at Crosswords bookstore at Kemps Corner, Mumbai.

The cookbook has various modern vegetarian recipes which are inventive, simple and easy to follow.  These recipes blend a perfect fusion of eastern and western style of cooking have been authored keeping in mind the diverse age group – children and adults, both young and old.

The book is divided into five sections, namely, starters, salads, main course, desserts and basic recipes. While some of the starters could be used as a main course or as a wholesome midday snack, the salad options are simply easy to make and cover a wide spectrum of ingredients. Several of the main dishes represent global cuisines, though with locally available ingredients. In the dessert section, the ice creams are visually appealing and delicious to taste!

The book originated as a result of the Tarla Dalal’s demise which led to a huge vacuum in the lives of her children. Thus as a gratitude to her beloved mother, Renu penned various recipes after experimenting with them in her own kitchen. Her extensive travels have also helped fuel her passion for creating vegetarian options for the modern palate.

Speaking at the launch Renu Dalal, shared, “I am very excited to launch my first cookbook. I took my first cooking class  during my growing up years . My parents loved hosting friends and family over and we used to follow the tradition of not repeating the same menus. Trying out new and innovative dishes have been a tradition in our family and its indeed a great moment for me to have penned some of the tastiest, healthy,  quick and easy to prepare recipes, which I’m sure all will enjoy.”

The launch was attended by some of her close friends and family members. The event also witnessed some patrons swearing by some of the recipes like panner wraps, baked peach yogurt, couscous and lentil salad and asparagus mousse and praising Renu’s delightful recipes.

The book is available on Amazon India and at leading bookstores accross India.
