आपको बता दे कि कोंकण और रत्नागिरी का छेत्र कला और आम के लिए प्रसिद्ध है, यहाँ की कला और संस्कृति पूरे ।महाराष्ट्र में मशहूर है, गौरतलब हो कि पिछले कुछ वर्षों में ग्रामीण इलाकों में  अभूतपूर्व परिवर्तन देखनेको मिला है, बढ़ती हुई शहरीकरण और एवम व्यसाइकरण में,सांस्कृतिक परंपरा आर्थिक ढांचा कमजोर पड़ गया है, ऐसे में अर्जुन मचीवले ने अपने चित्रकला के माध्यम से गांव की सौंधी मिट्टी की खुशबू ,तालाब, नाला, को अपने पेंटिंग द्वारा लोगो के सामने परोसा है, जो लोंगो को काफी पसंद आ रहा है, वही अर्जुन मचीवले मीडिया को संबोधित करते हुये कहा कि कभी ये मेरा सपना हुआ करता था कि जहांगीर आर्ट गैलरी में मेरा पाई पेंटिंग लगे आज वो सपना साकार हो गया और क्या कहा सुन लीजिए

While Dadasaheb Phalke busy putting the blocks of Indian Cinema together, she stood by him like a rock & not just managed her family of nine children, held white bed sheets for hours in the blazing sun as a light reflector, mixed film developing chemicals, perforated the raw film sheets at night in the light of a candle & with sharing all these responsibilities of pre & post production & other technological & technical responsibilities with Dada Saheb, even single handedly cooked food for the entire film unit comprising of 60-70 to even 100 people.
