Singer Nikk Reunites With Actress Avneet Kaur For Romantic Track Badaami Rang...

Chandigarh, October 14, 2020: A talented Punjabi singer, writer, and composer Nikk, who’s emotional & soul-stirring song titled ‘Hosh’ with Big Boss 13 contestant, Mahira Sharma touched millions of hearts and crossed over 30 million views, has unveiled another romantic track ‘Badaami Rang’. The song has been released under the banner of Bang Music and Gremin Media is also associated with the song.

This time Nikk has reunited for the music video for the romantic track with the versatile actress, Avneet Kaur once again and their chemistry in the song is quite evident. The video has an edgy, international appeal with foreign artistes seen dancing and partying at the beautiful sea shores which have been used quite effectively as shooting locales in the song’s video. Goa offers a picturesque backdrop to Nikk’s latest single Badaami Rang’, giving the video  a completely different feel compared to other Punjabi songs.

The lyrics and music are mesmerising. Nikk singing ‘Badaami rang nakhre bhang nain sharaab munda young’ in his inimitable and soothing voice has helped the song race  to the top at YouTube. The 3 minutes track ‘Badaami Rang’ sung by Nikk, has hit the right chords with the youth, and helped it cross over 3 million views in just two days of its launch. It is one of the best  trending Punjabi songs at the music charts.

Nikk said, “’Badaami Rang’ is a romantic track, which is quite refreshing and unique. I am quite certain that we will receive the same appreciation & love from music lovers as we received in our previous videos. Earlier, too, both me and Avneet have done music videos together. ‘Teri Naar’ and ‘Yaari’ had received loads of views from the audience.”

Avneet said, “We thoroughly enjoyed the song shoot after the long hiatus of lockdown at beautiful locations of Goa. It was like more of a vacation than work. It was a new experience for all of us as we adopted the ‘new normal’ during shooting and followed stringent norms to counter the COVID 19 threat.

In the song, Nikk is playing the role of a romantic guy who is teasing a girl – actress ‘Avneet Kaur’. Nikk while talking about his partner in the song said, “Avneet is a talented and glamorous actress. ‘Badaami Rang’ is about a romantic couple and how they enjoy time in Goa. Romance is one of the few things that people always love to watch during the time of the pandemic. It will be refreshing for viewers to enjoy a song shot in Goa.”

The USP of the song is the chemistry that Nikk and Avneet share on-screen. The natural acting skills displayed by the duo helps in developing an instant connect with the audience.

It is noteworthy that Nikk has been involved in all major aspects of making the music video. From selecting locations to sharing his ideas with the  director , songwriting to composition, Nikk has done it all.

The song was shot post-lockdown in Goa. In the wake of the pandemic, the crew took all preventive measures during the song shoot to keep the virus at bay. While shooting the song there were more than 200 people including the foreign artistes, who all had undergone a ‘screening test’ for COVID-19.

Bollywood Lyricist Meenu Singh Celebrates Her 25 Years In Bollywood...

Lyricist Meenu Singh is celebrating her 25 years in bollywood this year. She has the distinction of working with popular Singers,  Music Directors & Producer –  Directors  viz Mahinder Kapoor, Bhappi Lehri,  DAVID DHAWAN, ANU MALIK, DALER MEHNDI, MIKA, BALI BRUMBHAT, SHAAN, SHEREYA GOSHAL, SONU NIGAM, VINOD RATHOD, UDIT NARAYAN  and the list goes on.

Presently, Meenu is writing for Bappi Lahiri’s compositions. She has even penned the lyrics of Asha Bhosle’s forth-coming album. Poetry has always been her passion, says Meenu. She was born and brought up in Jalandhar but the passion became a profession when she moved to Mumbai. “My husband has been a great support”. But my inspiration has been Anand Bakshi. His songs are cherished.

Bollywood lyricist Meenu Singh, is now toning up for the Mrs India beauty contest for which she has prepared herself. She  will be walking on the ramp. It was only last year while watching the contest that the idea of participation  struck Meenu. “I have hired a personal trainer and have lost nearly 8 kg in four months,” she says.

Meenu’s journey as a lyricist began in 1996. “I met singer-composer Bali Brahmbhatt and he liked my collection of songs and I got my first break. His song Kook Kook Kooky, which I penned became a big hit.” After that there was no looking back, she says. “I worked with Bappi Lahiri, Daler Mehandi, Mika, Mahender Kapoor, Labh Janjua and others.” She has written the lyrics for the movies Chor Machaye Shor; String and Topless.

“Till date, I have penned lyrics for over 60 songs”. “Old is gold. The magic of old songs created can be recreated even today,” believes Meenu. Now is modeling time for Meenu. “I have already been selected among the top 50 contestants and I’m confident that I shall also be short-listed among the top 25,” she says.

Mumbai : Acid Survivors Sahaas Foundation had organise a Social Event for launching “” All IN ONE SUPER MARKET- By  Acid Survivors”. It was held on 10th October , Saturday , Time 5:30pm at Rangshrdha Hotel, Near Lilavati hospital ONGC colony  Bandra West Mumbai. Chief Guest was Mrs. Chitra Kishor wagh ( Bjp Vice President of Mumbai) and Mr. Deepak Sawant ( Film  Director and Mr Amitabh Bachchan ‘s Makeup and Hair Stylist) and Guest of Honour Ms. Sonali Iyengar, Sneha Vasariya, Anuradha  ( Tabla Player First Women in India ), Mr. Raju Nag, Mr.Dinesh Wala , Mr Ajay Sonawale, Mr.S P Ahuja and many more will be  present on the occasion . Acid Survivors Women were also present in this function they would say a few words about their COVID  Experience.

ASSF was an initiative, started in 2016 by Mrs. Daulat Bi Khan, who herself was a victim of acid attack. The aim of this organization  is providing shelter to the acid victims along with actively focusing on spreading awareness about acid attack, aftermath of attack  & its consequences and to fight against the taboo of the society.

The NGO provides rehabilitation to the patients which include medical facilities, education, legal, moral and financial support.  The foundation has so far helped many acid attack victims in performing major surgeries, providing them with basic human needs  and living a normal lifestyle by arranging marriages for them such as Ms.Lalita and Ms.Kamal. A great support in this noble cause  was provided by the owner of Ample Mission, Dr. Aneel Murarka. ASSF till date has provided end to end support to more than 30 acid victims which includes surgery of 9 acid survivors.

OUR VISION

ASSF’s vision is a world free from acid violence where survivors and activists work together for this common  cause. This can be possible only by changing the social perception towards the victims. Society should not  consider acid sufferers as victims but rather as victors. They should be filled with a massive amount of esteem, so  they can see any hindrance in their path as a fragile one. The other aspect is helping the ‘average person’ who  hears about acid violence move from being a concerned bystander to an active participant in this fight.

OUR MISSION

ASSF’s main goal is to provide every possible support to the victims and survivors. The NGO is deeply focusing on providing  shelter to acid victors which should also consist of a workshop where they can earn their livelihood by making handmade bags,  cushions, antiques etc. Daulat Bi has a dream and ambition to open a big departmental store which itself will be operated by acid  victors team. By taking these small but major steps the victors can stand on their own feet and can prove their worth to the  society.

The main objective of starting this supermarket is to help victims of acid attack earn their living from the business. The store will  remain open 6 days a week. This business will help acid survivors become self-dependent in their life ahead.

The impact of this initiative will be an independent, liberal and self-sustained life for acid attack survivors. event will encourage everyone work hard whosoever is a part of this initiative.
