DCP Expeditions to exhibit its Grand Annual Photography Exhibition at Bombay Art Society, Bandra

DCP Expeditions, India’s one of the fastest growing Photography Training Academy has been displayed its 8^thGrand Annual Photography Exhibition 2023, on 20^th, 21^st and 22^nd January 2023 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at Bombay Art Society situated at K. C. Marg, Bandra Reclamation, Bandra West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400050.

The exhibition carries with it a legacy of 8 years exhibiting astonishing creative photography by hundreds of photographers from across the country and also, from beyond the country borders. The platform aims at providing the talented photographers an exposure to a wider audience. The imagery involves several genres of photography starting from wildlife, birds, macro, landscapes, astro to travel and food photography.

A total of 200 breath taking images by 80 plus professional as well as amateur wildlife, nature, traveland food photographers from across India and abroad, will be displayed in two galleries.Photographs printed on Epson enhanced Matt papers and beautifully mounted in frames will glorify the galleries of Bombay Art Society for three days. The previous exhibitions conducted in the bygone years had immense success with nearing 5000 footfalls over 3 days. This year, the exhibition is optimistically looking forward towards over 7500 footfalls.

This year the exhibition is supported by industry leaderslike Olympus India, Canon India, Nikon India, Creative Newtech Ltd, PhotoStop by Honeycomb Creative Support Ltd. and Lotus Enterprises.

The IIPPT Foundation organised the XVIIth Sorbon International Convocation on Jan 8, 2023 at the Hotel Leela Ambience Gurugram to honour some of the prominent people from India. The degree was presented by Dr. Thomas Prade President Ecole Superiuere Robert de Sorbon France along with Dr Vivek Choudhry, Vice President, ESRDS & Chairman IIPPT Foundation, Padma Bhushan Ram Vaniji Sutarji renowned Artist, Sonu Sood popular actor and Ashok Talwar a well-known film director in the presence of large audience from India and abroad.

“We feel honored in recognizing the efforts of Sandeep Marwah, one of the most popular people from Asia. His contribution is Global. It is our duty to high light his sincere contribution in his field and it must be recognized by presenting Doctorate,” said Dr. Thomas Prade President Ecole Superiuere Robert de Sorbon France.

The  contribution of Sandeep Marwah also includes his mentorship to more than 20,000 students from 145 countries of the World. The harvest festival is celebrated with pomp and show across the country. It is a fun-filled annual celebration that people avidly wait for. Traditional sweets, winter delicacies, bonfires, festivities, kite flying, rangolis, and unlimited fun and frolic with friends and family characterize the festival. It is one of the cultural celebrations that has stayed authentic over the years and has not got adulterated with modernization. Ms Nidarshana Gowani who is a strong believer in rich culture and traditions, upholds this tradition every year and organizes community celebrations that help people enjoy the festival. This year, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti she organized a kite flying for kids and sweets and savouries for all attendees.

The fun-filled event was a grand success and was attended by eminent personalities such as Urvashi Dholakia who was the chief guest at the event. Urvashi handed out prizes to the winners of the kite flying competition and the best-dressed women at the event. The criteria to be eligible for the prize of ‘best-dressed woman’ was to be dressed in traditional Maharashtrian attire. It was a great event full of traditional and festive vibes. Sumita Suman Singh, the spokesperson of BJP and Gazala Pathan also attended the event.
