Abhinav Gautam is an actor and model in the Indian film and television industry. He was born on January 11, 1978, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has done his higher secondary education (12th grade) at the Government Inter College in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Abhinav Gautam’s father’s name is Naresh Chandra Tyagi, and his mother’s name is Mridula Tyagi

Abhinav Gautam is an amazing actor and has a great screen presence.  He was 1st runner up in Gladrags Manhunt (2001), Best Asian Model Title (2001), and the winner held in Istanbul Turkey. Abhinav Gautam made his television debut with the serial Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani on Star One . He has also seen in the Imlie on Star Plus, He played a politician character in serial Sirf Tum on Colours. He has also played a Business Tycoon character as Vikrant Oberoi in  YE Hain Chahatein on Star Plus, he had also worked in Apna Time Bhi Aayega on Zee TV, and Jeev Maza Guntala on Colors Marathi. In 2022, he has seen in Web Series The Great Indian Murder (2022),  Roohaniyat season 2 Webseries (2022) ,  Breathe: Into the Shadows (2020), Abhinav made his Bollywood debut with the film Raksha Bandhan. Daksh Sharma talks about his role in Colors TV’s new show ‘Agnisakshi~ Ek Samjhauta’

Tell Us More about Your Self? 

Well I’m from Kulgam south Kashmir. Basically I am from Hawanad  Chawalgam a small village in Kulgam district of South Kashmir, my primary education was done in a private school.

How You Entered in Acting what was the Inspiration?

“Well its different as Before 1990, Local Dialect Milo Dramas were performed on stage in our locality, in which all the people of the locality participated. There were and most of the time all the people of the district used to give an example of it, listening to it from the elders. Aa a child, I was invited to children’s programs on Doordarshan and I kept finding a way and I went. After the matriculation results, the studies were affected for three years, after that I entered the college and got more opportunities to do many programs on the stage. Then advanced in journalism and in Jammu and Kashmir there was no other channel except the local Doordarshan on which I could show my talent but time is not too late to change and that time is going on”.

So Tell Us Way towards Bollywood?

“Bollywood was a dream During Childhood .I earned name in films, national dramas and other national broadcasts. Film productions also come under the scope of work and the opportunity to work”.

How Do You Face Local Atmosphere?

“Acting is a skill but even today most of the people in Kashmir consider it something wrong by giving it a funny color.Which is not good it must be equally respected because an actor being skilled person is very disciplined and hardworking ,to shoot in minus temperature for 10 hours in winters is not everyone’s Cup of Tea”.

What’s You Point on Films in Kashmir?

“Having a film culture in Kashmir is a welcome step as many thousands of Bollywood people today come to Kashmir for film making, giving local artists an opportunity to showcase their art.  Ever since I appeared on the big screen, a feeling has arisen in the youth of Kashmir that anything can be done if a person works hard.  Running in which I am self-diagnosed.”

Shadab Khan, a theatre artiste , Actor and Director from Smart town Reasi encircled by Trikuta Hills in the Lap of Shri Mata Veshnu Devi  Jammu and Kashmir who is administering Government of J&K as a Civil Engineer (JE) but an epitome of Art and aesthetics inside, we have an inspiring story of Mr Khan who  commenced his  career back in 1992-1993 under the banner of DYNA Creative art which was scuttle by Late Sh. Sudarshan langeh And under that banner  ,He has accomplished many plays and solo acts also.

In 2000-2001 Er. Khan  was selected for the 1st phase of young theatre artist workshop Jammu(Mansar) which was organised by Sangeet Natak Academy ( New delhi). In that workshop 57 artist were selected from j&k and in that workshop  did myriad performances and comprehended many new things related to theatre. From that workshop judges selected only 3 artist for the next phase he says ” by the grace of God   I was also among the Top 3 and that’s how I got selected for 2nd phase of that workshop. Again in 2002-2003 I was selected for the 2nd phase of workshop in Sanskrit Kendre Anandgram which was also organised by Sangeet Natak Academy. The director of that workshop’s camp was Sh. J.N. koushal.”

He distant expands his experience and says

“During that workshop we got a recourse to work the experts of that field and acquired many new techniques which are still very useful. It was certainly a very great experience working with masters like Sh. Ratan Thiyan, Sh. Shashidhar Aacharya, Sh. Satish Anand, Sh.J.N Koushal, Sh.Ahsan Baksh, Sh.gourav jha, Sh.mushtaq kak, Sh. Niranjan Goswami, Sh.Atul kulkarni, Sh.kiran bhatnagar, Sh.O.P. bharti, Sh. Suresh Bharadwaj, Sh. Dolly Ahlluwalia and multiple more and we have seen the production of Drama world. In the 2nd phase of workshop we were very lucky as we got an opportunity to work with some actors from the Hindi film industry like Sh. Naseeruddin shah, Smt. Sushma seth, Sh. Amresh puri, Sh Satish koushik, Sh. Sourav shukla, Sh. Anupam Kher, Smt. Seema vishwash, Sh. Ratna pathak, Sh. Mohan agashe etc”

Subsequently that  he came back home and turned on his own theatre group by the name of Abhinaya Kala Mach Reasi in 2003-2004.

Under this banner he  created an enormous team and have performed various plays in several fora like Spartacus, Taj Mahal Ka tender, Fansi etc. My group has performed in district drama festival organised by J&K Academy of Art,Culture and Languages and achieved the title of best production 3 times in row and 2 times for Best actor.
