The premium video-on-demand service Viu, by Vuclip and PCCW brings forth an exciting thriller that will keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. Not a stranger to the digital space, popular youth icon Rannvijay Singh along with talented actress Sayani Gupta will feature in the series.  It will also bring together renowned artists such as Omkar Kapoor, Namit Das, Manasi Scott, Shruti Srivastava and Rajeev Siddharth, who will be seen in pivotal roles in this gripping new Viu Original.
Rannvijay Singh who plays the role of a cop in Kaushiki, said, “It feels great to be associated with a series such as Kaushiki. When I was offered Kaushiki, I just had to go ahead with the role since I felt that everything was perfect, from the script to the cast to my role. The entire team has put in a lot of effort in this series and I hope the audience love the show.”
Sayani Gupta who plays the role of the protagonist, said, “”The script of Kaushiki really excited me as it gave me a chance to innovate with the set of roles I like to essay. The series has a great ensemble and it was great fun shooting with all of them. The trailer is out and I am really looking forward to its launch. Hope people enjoy watching me in as Kaushiki as much as I enjoyed enacting it.”

Namit Das, who plays an interesting role in the series, said “Some stories are so impeccable that you just can’t say a no, and Kaushiki was one of them. Without reading the script, I happily said a Yes because the gist of the story itself was so riveting. I have enjoyed every moment of shoot schedule for this series and I hope the audience love our performance in it as well.”
Commenting on being a part of Kaushiki, actor Omkar Kapoor,said  ”Kaushiki is an exceptionally amazing script and Ankush’s character was a great role to play as he has hidden secrets like the others as well.. Kaushiki revolves around protagonist, Sayani Gupta playing the part of Kaushiki, who becomes a part of a popular and high-profile group of friends. Extremely glad with the change in her life, Kaushiki finds herself in a complex situation when she discovers her friends aren’t actually who they appear to be.
Building on the success of recent Viu originals, such as ‘It Happened In Hong Kong’ and ‘Love, Lust and Confusion’, ‘Kaushiki’ will be 13 episodes and produced by the media giant – Big Synergy.

Lawrence D’souza Launches Trailer & Music of FALOODA...

The  event of the trailer and audio launch of Vaibhav Laxmi Films presentation of Shree S J Entertainment and Dev Gayatri Entertainment’s FALOODA was held with great fanfare at The View, Andheri, West, Mumbai on 23rd April 2018.  Renowned filmmaker Lawrence D’souza was the chief guest who was welcomed by producers Kanhaiya Lal V. Jain, Aakash Sharma, Harendra Singh Negi and Mahavir Jain and co-producer Mukesh Jain Doshi. The film’s DoP is Mohan Prajapati. Music director Saumyadeep, Irti- Shivam, Rohit Sinha and Aasif Chandwani. Lyrics are penned by Alaukik Rahi. The singers are Victor Dey, Santosh Shandilya, Asit Tripathi, Deepali Sathe and Rehan Khan.

The film’s story is about a delivery boy Ajay who has two wives Sheetal and Riya. Both the wives are staying seperately, one in the village and the other in the city. Due to an incident Police Inspector K.K. Singh thinks that Ajay is belonging to the underworld and with the help of his friend Pappu, he comes to meet both the wives of Ajay and how Ajay foold him by pretending to be a Gay. What happens later forms the crux of the story which leads to a hilarious comedy. Ajay’s role has been enacted by Aarav Singh while Sheetal’s character is depicted by Goonj Chand. Riya is played by Pihu Sharma and K.K. Singh;s role is played by Gaurav Sharma. Pappu’s role is played by Dheeraj.

The film has been directed by Dheeraj Singh. The evnt was held in a grand manner and the gathering was very huge with the entire cast and crew of ther film alongwith media perswonnells, the electronic media and many friends and well wishers of the filmmakers.The publiicty has been handled by Oneup Relations. AARAV SINGH- “I Am Creating Lots Of Comic Moments In This Film”

”  For five years I was in the Theatre Group of Parichay Theatres and Shabd Theatres. I have acted in several episodic stories of the popular serial RAAZ PICHHLE JANAM KA and also played the lead role in SHRI AADI MANAV. Then I also performed the stand up comedy for the Joes for Masti Channel Video. I got my first break in feature films  in the Parveen Dabbas starrer JAB TUM KAHO in 2016, now I am appearing in the leading role in FALOODA. I am playing the comic character Ajay who has two wives and he does not want his wives to know that he is the husband of both women. But K.K. Singh (Gaurav Sharma) is sent to the city by the first wife Sheetal (Goonj Chand) to find out the truth of the second wife and Ajay then behaves as a Gay and K.K. Singh thinks that Ajay is not interested in women. How Sheetal comes to Mumbai and spies on her husband and how the drama unfolds into a hlarious situations becomes the USP of the film. I am very happy to enact the role Ajay and the shooting of the film took place in Nainital and many areas of Uttrakhand.”

GOONJ CHAND; ” On The Sets We Improvised A Lot.”

” I have been knowing director Dheeraj Singh since the past six years. He came up with the script of FALOODA and told me to act in the female lead. I was hugely excited as I knew that the film will turn out to be a fun film. We shot several scenes in my own house in Rudrapur, Utrtarakhand. Dheeraj Singh allowed me to act several lines and punches and I made my character turn out to be the one in the popular serial BHABHIJI GHAR PAR HAI with the Bhojpuri accent. Dheeraj Singh was impressed by my enthusiasm on the sets and the qholwe unit coperated with him till the end . My takia kalam dialogue is :” Hum Paagal Ho Jaayenge” which will bring huge laughter in the theatres.”

Director DHEERAJ SINGH :” I Am Very Confident About FALOODA As It Entertains Throughout”

Director Dheeraj Singh is young, dynamic and dashing person. He had worked in the production team of the film YARAB and ONE NIFGHT STAND. Very soon he learnt the ropes of direction too and he planned to make FALOODA with his best friends who were actors and technicians from the film industry. I have followed the pattern of films like GARAM MASALA and BHAAGAM BHAAG. The main character Ajay creates a lot of confusion in the minds of the people and lots of misunderstandings take place in the film which creats laughter. I have also played the character of Pappu in this film. If everything goes very well, I have also planned to start the sequel to FALOODA very soon.”

Multi starrer Drama ‘Ranangan’ Trailer Launched...

The much awaited drama movie ‘Ranangan’ has finally revealed the star cast faces with its Trailer launch in Mumbai. “India Dance Week’ is the first ever two day dance festival celebrated on International Dance Day in India (28-29th April), where varied dance forms be it Indian or International classical, Indian or international folk, Ballroom, Bollywood, Hip Hop or contemporary all come together on one single platform.

This year the two causes which will be brought to light are ; Drug Abuse and care for mentally challenged people. To showcase the association Autistic and mentally challenged individuals from Advitya  Foundation were seen dancing on hit Bollywood number choti se Hassi choti se khooshi. And Sandip Soparrkar along with his dancers presented a small teaser of the dance drama that he is Choreographing and directing especially to highlight the cause of Drug Abuse through the Ngo – Stairs. As the Chief Guest Kunal Kapoor made a grand entry dancing on his hit song Chinnamma Chilakkamma and leaving the audience asking for more.

Speaking on the season 5 launch dance guru Sandip Soparrkar said, “I have always believed that dance is not just a way of entertainment But also a fantastic way to educate and bring awareness to society.
