The 15th branch of CJKDs Martial Academy opened in Thailand in an inimitable manner

Mumbai: Since 1970s, Martial art has become a significant industry in sports worldwide. Martial art is codified as combat practices practiced for mental and spiritual development, as well as entertainment, a form of sports and intangible cultural heritage. It can be used for self-defense and law enforcement applications too.Martial arts exponent Chitah Yagnesh Shetty is a colossal, prominent and eminent name not only in India but across the entire globe. Since more than three and half decades he has been teaching martial arts not only to youngsters but also film stars who are presently ruling the world of cinema. His martial arts academy – ‘Chitah Jeet Kune-Do Global Sports Federation’ CJKD is not just an institution which modulates lifetime benefits of its structured training technique in a disciplined and challenging environment.

The module and functioning of ‘Chitah Jeet Kune-Do Global Sports Federation’ has spread its footprints and affiliated not only in India but also in America, Russia, China, Sri Lanka including 14 other countries, where CJKD form of martial arts are taught.

It was an event to remember…. on Sunday, 18th March 2018, as the jubilant founder president, chairman and chief instructor of CJKD, Chitah Yagnesh Shetty addressed the members of the fourth estate about his latest achievement – inauguration of his 15th branch of its martial arts academy “Chitah Jeet Kune-Do Association” in Thailand and that too in a grand and unique way at his Andheri’s Academy,Lokhandwala,Andheri (West), Mumbai . The association’s president Sumit Singh Nikku and its vice president Ashok Kesarwani during the inaugural ceremony bequeathed a truck filled with food grains, rice, oil, juice and other basic necessities to ‘The Orphanage Foundation of Thailand’ from the hands of Chitah Yagnesh Shetty. Shetty also donated a cheque for 2,000 Thai baht to Khun Malai, the head of the orphanage on behalf of the Association. Mr. William Bond, the world director of CJKD and Mr. Karim, the presenter of a book on CJKD also made their presence felt at the event.

Looking at the matchless launch of his 15th academy in Thailand, Chitah Yagnesh Shetty was enthralled and said to the members of the press in Mumbai, “I would like to thank my associates in Thailand Sumit and Ashok for making it an unparalleled launch with a noble cause.” Shetty further adds, “I want all the people in the world, especially the younger generation to learn martial arts to enable them to keep fit and healthy. These days there is a shortage of open spaces and gardens and people are unable to play any kind of sports. Today more and more of the young and the old alike are more engrossed and busy with computers and mobile phones. Thereby there is no requisite physical exercise for the body which puts a spanner in the modern-day lifestyle due to various ailments. Martial improves mentally, spiritually and keeps healthy too by improving and overcoming many kinds of illnesses.”

Programme Synopsis.

The legendary music director, Shri Naushad Ali, had stressed on the need for the revival of traditional Ghazal singing- the ‘roohani’ style of ghazal, which he had said is losing its true essence, its purity. Naushadji requested Dr Soma Ghosh & entrusted her with the noble duty of reviving this endangered art form.

Over the years now, she has been holding several Ghazal concerts to give impetus to the traditional Ragadari Ghazal rendering. She proposes to hold a 2 –day concert titled ‘Rooh-e-Ghazal’ where she will render Ghazals and provide a platform for eminent ghazal singers as well as the next generation of artists. The 2-day concert will be held at Rangsharda Auditorium, Mumbai. on the 23rd and 24th of March, 2018.

Profile 

Madhu Murchhana is an N. G. O. committed to the promotion of Arts, Culture and especially Indian Classical Music.  It aims to preserve our rich cultural heritage and promote it among common men, by exposing them to the best of what we have in our tradition.

This aspect deserves special attention today as more and more of our youth are getting alienated from this rich classical tradition, overwhelmed as they are by the massive cultural invasion of our lives through television and now, the internet.  Backed by massive financing from all over the world, these alien cultures are monopolizing all the limelight.  While there is nothing wrong with our younger generation knowing what is happening around the world, there is nevertheless an urgent need for them to be equally exposed to our traditional arts and music.  And that is what drives the nascent organization of Madhu Murchhana, small but with big ambition, dedication and passionate zeal, for achieving the impossible.

Madhu Murchhana has taken iniative to introduce the methods involving music as the medium to reduce psychosomatic effects on adults as well as children, it being the subject chosen by Dr. Soma Ghosh for her doctorate.

Madhu Murchhana is also driven to introduce music therapy in India which has been successful as a therapeutic intervention for people with physical disabilities. These techniques have been used to develop and maintain joint and muscle function or to increase fine and gross motor coordination and control, increase muscle strength, increase range of motion, improve cardiopulmonary and respiratory functioning, improve oral-motor skills, facilitate relaxation and controlled movement, as well as provide an outlet for emotional self-expression and provide opportunities for social interaction.

Besides the above-mentioned activities, the organization is also trying to stretch out its helping hands to aspiring musicians, imparting training and support. Special effort is being made to provide support to visually impaired music students   For the mentioned objectives, I plan to bring together ‘Sangeet Gram-Music Village’ which will hopefully help me reach out to a larger audience and help in the preservation & promotion of Endangered Indian Instruments & Gharana traditions.

Trailer of Horror Romantic Hindi Film “Surya Aur Mehrunissa Ka Adhura Milan” was launched in a grand funfare in Mumbai, ‘A Bajrang Balaji Film’s Production’ presentation, film is based on eternal love story which represents old history with current time. It is suspense, thriller and romantic film.

Entire cast and crew were present on the occasion, all actors have performed there characters at there best. Film is directed by Raju Sansare, written and produced by Gundappa Suresh Devkar, music by Anirudha-Akshay and M. Deepak, lyrics by Uma Pardeshi and Cinematography by Shantaram Bhonsle. Film stars Suryakant Devkar, Riddhi Ghodke, Kadambari Bankar, Raju Sansare and others.

Producer Gundappa Suresh Devkar is a well known social worker and businessman from Nasik, he has received special award for his contribution in social field by film star Jackie Shroff in a cultural program in Bollywood. Devkar always tries to promote new talents.

‘ए बजरंग बालाजी फिल्म्स प्रोडक्शन’ प्रस्तुत हिंदी फिल्म “सूर्या और मेहरुन्निसा का अधूरा मिलन” का ट्रेलर भव्य पैमाने पर मुंबई में लांच किया गया। इस मौके पर फिल्म के निर्माता निर्देशक, हीरो, हीरोइन सहित बहुत से गणमान्य लोग मौजूद थे। यह फ़िल्म एक अमर प्रेम कथा पर आधारित है, जो  पुराने इतिहास को आज के युग से तुलना करती है। सस्पेंस, थ्रिलर व रोमांटिक फिल्म है, जो हर किसी का मनोरंजन करेगी। इस फिल्म के सभी कलाकारों ने बहुत ही उम्दा अभिनय किया है। फिल्म के निर्देशक राजू संसारे हैं।
