Jindal Aluminium Limited (JAL) Contributes INR 5 Crore To PM-CARES Fund For COVID-19 Relief Efforts...

New Delhi, April 01, 2020: Jindal Aluminium Limited (JAL) has contributed INR 5 crore to PM’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation (PM CARES) Fund in order to help the government in the fight against coronavirus pandemic in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier announced an emergency relief fund and invited contributions from the citizens as the country continues to battle COVID-19.

Dr. Sitaram Jindal, Chairman, and Managing Director, Jindal Aluminium Limited said, “We are confident that India will conquer the COVID-19 crisis. In this exceptionally difficult period, we have made our humble support to the PM-CARES fund towards relief efforts. It is to state that the claims made by the so-called NRI or Gutka Baron’s son (as the media terms him) namely Mr. Sachin Joshi is totally false and frivolous. I would like to clarify the news doing the rounds and blatantly picked up by other news agencies without verifying the facts with other parties involved. This act of Mr. Sachin Joshi is yet another attempt to malign and tarnish my image and reputation in the country. He has made several attempts before earlier so this is nothing new.

I would like to put on record that one company Satyug Gold Pvt. Ltd. in which I was an investor and director had launched a gold plan to provide gold to customers. The details of the scheme are not elaborated for the brevity of the matter. Every single order received from 100’s of customers since their inception has been fulfilled without a single complaint.

However, Mr. Sachin feels that the best way to get his gold is by filing a police complaint and media statements rather than collecting his gold from our offices or contacting us. As stated in the letter sent to police and at Mr. Sachin’s residential address we state again that Mr. Sachin Joshi’s gold is kept secured and he can collect his gold after complying with the terms and conditions and paying the balance due of Rs.17,35,000/- for which everything is mentioned in the T&C on the website. This matter is nothing more than revenge because of a cheque bouncing case against Mr. Joshi. In the past, he bounced cheques amounting to Rs. 40 lakhs against his purchase of a team in one of my sporting events. With regard to the unavailability and change of the office, I would like to clarify that our current address has been mentioned on our website. There has not been one instance where any of our customers faced difficulty reaching out to us other than Mr. Joshi or his claims.

I would appreciate if all media personnel verify facts before publishing such news as it ultimately proves out to be incorrect.

VIVAAN SHAH WALKS ON HIS FATHER’S FOOT STEPS & CHOOSES A FILM KABAAD- THE COIN UNEXPLORED IN INDIAN CINEMA SO FAR...

From 7 Khoon Maaf to Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana, Vivaan Shah’s  films prove that we now have an actor who can masterfully balance between content-driven and commercial cinema. His recent film “Kabaad- The Coin” under the Banner- MBN Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, Directed by –  Varadraj Swami, Produced by-  Meena Negi, Babban Negi, Co-Produced by- Deepak Prajapat, Babban Negi is also another out-of-the-box script.    
Playing a Ragman (Kabadi) in the film, Vivaan took 90 days to understand & adapt the nuances & play the role to his utmost perfection. Vivaan along with the director Varadraj Swami used to interact with Ragmans to get in the skin of his character. Infact, Vivaan invited his mother Ratna Pathak on the sets of the film to show her how he is shaping his character. Vivaan also tanned himself to look like the character.
Calling Vivaan a director’s delight, Varadraj Swami, who has penned the critically acclaimed film Manjhi the mountain says “Acting runes in his blood. He comes from a family of brilliant actors. It is commendable that so early in his career, he is eager to experiment with his roles & choose character that explore his credentials as an actor. He is a director’s delight. Known to pick unconventional story lines every time he signs a film, Vivaan Shah says “Trying to play a kabaadiwala was a fascinating process. We have all observed hatgaadi pullers on the road in our everyday life, but to truly replicate the nuances, body language and cadences of a Ragman required some focussed study and observation. The way they pull the cart, or the calls they send out across the streets in order to sell their wares. It is all very specific and needed to be replicated authentically” further adds “In these I played a servant boy, a driver, a waiter and a Dalit respectively. I would say Kabaad- The Coin belongs to a similar category where it has a ploretarian hero. I find that more interesting than playing a big city boy or a privileged person. The director Vardraj Swami and the writer Shahzad Ahmed were of invaluable help to me in trying to render true the nuances, speech, and practices of a kabaadiwala. Also what the three of us had fun with was the Bumbaiya language. I’m playing a Maharashtrian character called Bandhan and I just had a blast speaking in Bumbaiya because that is the language I have grown up speaking with my friends on the street. It’s a vernacular I am deeply familiar with and hopefully I have been able to represent it authentically in the film”
“I love both realistic and slightly fantastic cinema. It was an immense challenge to play a character that was outside the realm of my experience and also from a different strata of society. I’ve played working class character about 4 times now. In 7 Khoon Maaf, Bombay Velvet, Laali ki shaadi mein laddoo Deewana and Coat” says Vivaan Shah
